Cheesepressers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Knoxville Running Rebels got a sterling performance from pitcher Raul de Herrera, but the Cheesepressers still prevailed, 3-2. de Herrera was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The Cheesepressers raised their record to 19-6.

The Cheesepressers beat the Running Rebels in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Mike Jackson produced in the top of the tenth. Batting against Knoxville pitcher Jason Spronk, Jackson gave his team a 3-2 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Jackson.
