The Boise Idahosies got a good effort from starter Arturo Gonzalez in defeating the Honolulu Waterspouts at Best Western Dome. The final score was 4-2. The winning pitcher was Gonzalez, now 3-3. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. The loss drops Honolulu to 10-15.
The Idahosies got a big at-bat from shortstop Angel Collazo. For the game, Collazo was 1 for 3 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Boise a 2-1 lead.
