Extra-Inning Win by Fighting Beetles over Cheesepressers
The Tucson Fighting Beetles stopped the Toledo Cheesepressers, 4-3, at Kmart Park. The Fighting Beetles got a big game from Cruz Palomino, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tucson, now 21-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the tenth, with two out, Palomino drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Tucson the 4-3 walk-off win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Palomino told the Tucson Bulletin.
