Idahosies Suffer 3-1 Setback
Honolulu Waterspouts starter Zhen-ying Chen turned in a top-notch performance against the Boise Idahosies at Best Western Dome. The result was a win for the Waterspouts, 3-1. Chen, now 2-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. With the loss, Boise sinks to 17-10.

In the top of the third, Jared McLaughlin hit a 2-run single for Honolulu. The 6th hit of the season for the Honolulu right fielder put the Waterspouts on top, 3-1.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Honolulu manager Claribette Del Rosario. "It's usually not just one thing."
