Running Rebels Lose, 4-3, at Hartford Courant Center

Fans who came to Hartford Courant Center watched the New Haven Tempest and the Knoxville Running Rebels fight to the finish.
New Haven starter Philip Lundholm pitched effectively against the Knoxville Running Rebels at Hartford Courant Center. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Edgar Zavala nailed down his 6th save.
New Haven took a 4-3 lead on Caleb Zimmer's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Knoxville pitcher Steve Stabile in the bottom of the seventh.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Lundholm told the New Haven Today.
The Running Rebels fall to 12-19 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2016 season.
