Waterspouts Turn Back Bangor, 5-3
Honolulu right-hander Joel Taute pitched his team to victory over the Bangor Devil Bears at Coconuts Park. The final score was 5-3. The Waterspouts, now 20-8, have hit the ground running this season.

Tom Kerber had a big run-scoring double for the Waterspouts in the bottom of the third inning. With Honolulu trailing 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Bobby Trevino and stroked the double to left. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Waterspouts ahead, 3-1.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Kerber.
