The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo got a magnificent performance from pitcher Leo Rojas, who muffled the Tucson offense en route to a tight 3-0 Hullabaloo win at The Zoo. The winning pitcher was Rojas, now 2-3. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. The Fighting Beetles fall to 12-17 and continue their wobbly start to the 2025 season.

Jeff Harvilla was one of the major contributors to the win for Kalamazoo. The light-hitting center fielder stroked a double to right in the bottom of the sixth inning. For the day, he was 2-3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Mike Veverka. "That was the problem."
