Waterspouts Win in Glorious Fashion
|
Honolulu Waterspouts starter Andy Rodriguez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Wichita Warlocks, 3-2. The win was Ryan Ball's in relief. His record improves to 5-5. Quon Sui took the loss for Wichita. The Waterspouts now have a mark of 82-61.
Honolulu won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Quon Sui on the mound for Wichita, first baseman Junior Henderson hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Waterspouts fans to their feet.
"I was a little disappointed," said Wichita manager Chris Lopresti. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
