Cheesepressers Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Toledo Cheesepressers bested the Saskatoon Platoon, 12-8, at Labatt Blue Field. John Roberts was named player of the game. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Reliever Travis Storm picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Chris Stone took the loss. John Naughton earned the save, his 1st.

Roberts had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Cheesepressers went on to win.

"This team is on a mission," said Roberts, who is one of the clubhouse leaders. "I like our focus."

The Cheesepressers bumped their record to 25-7 with this latest triumph.
