Late Rally by Idahosies Secures Win
The Boise Idahosies beat the Toledo Cheesepressers, 10-6, at Best Western Dome. The Idahosies got a fine performance from second baseman Greg Plummer, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Boise reliever Sean Ruffini was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Jordan Morales took the loss. Jeff Phillips picked up the save for Boise, his 12th of the year.

Had Alex Reyes not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Reyes hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Idahosies.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Plummer.

The Idahosies go to 19-16, putting them second in the United League West Division.
