Cheesepressers Win at Boise, 7-4
|
The Toledo Cheesepressers racked up a win at Best Western Dome, bumping off the Boise Idahosies, 7-4. R.J. Fallon, who started for Toledo, pitched effectively for his team. The winning pitcher was Fallon, now 3-3. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. Alvin Biter closed it out for his 10th save.
Bobby Ware, who is a two-time All-Star, aided the Toledo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 2-3 with a double and a walk.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Ware.
Toledo currently is in third place in the United League East Division at 21-15.
