Victory Pushes Waterspouts Record to 22-15
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts powered past the Cheyenne Sentinels, 9-2, at KGAB "The Rock" 650 AM Stadium. Dennis Anderson went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs, to lead the charge. The second-place Waterspouts now have a win-loss record of 22-15.
Travis Arnall was a key contributor to the win for the Waterspouts. In the top of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a double to right-center. He went 2-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI.
"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Mike Wolfe.
