Victory Over Waterspouts Takes Toledo to 30-8
The Toledo Cheesepressers beat the Honolulu Waterspouts, 8-3, at Velveeta Field. The Cheesepressers got a fine performance from third baseman Jon Kilkenny, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Marshall Pazar picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 3-2. Toledo is now 30-8, 10½ games up in the United League East Division.

Toledo took a 8-3 lead on Kilkenny's 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Aaron Stout in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Toledo to the win.
