Waterspouts Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
|
Honolulu starter Joel Taute pitched effectively against the Havana Knights at Coconuts Park. The right-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Reliever Jim Cannon picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. John Livingston took the loss. This win makes it 5 in a row for Honolulu.
Travis Arnall was a key contributor to the win for the Waterspouts. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a single to right. He went 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Arnall.
