Savannah Pride starter Marc Seibel was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo, 6-2. The winning pitcher was Seibel, now 1-5. He tossed 8.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Souma Yamamura recorded his 9th save for Savannah.

Marty Tussey was a key contributor to the win for the Pride. In the top of the sixth with two out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a home run to left. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Seibel.

The first-place Pride have a one-game lead in their division.
