Havana second baseman Keith Miller had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Miller went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2, even as Honolulu beat the Knights, 8-7. Miller was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Honolulu reliever Brad Kuhn, now 2-1. The loser was Pete Siegler. Havana has now lost 6 consecutive games.

Matt Camara was a key contributor to the win for the Waterspouts. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a single to left. He was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Camara. "But I like how we're playing right now."
