Waterspouts Come Back Late to Top Fighting Beetles
|
Honolulu rode a decent outing from starter Ryan LaVoie to victory over the Tucson Fighting Beetles at Kmart Park. The final score was 5-2. Their 24-20 record puts the Waterspouts third in the United League West Division.
Steve Casselman made it 3-2 in favor of Honolulu when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Waterspouts went on to win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said LaVoie.
