Graybirds Need Extras to Top Cheesepressers
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Reno Graybirds got the win.

The Reno Graybirds defeated the Toledo Cheesepressers, 4-3, in United League action at Velveeta Field, with Reno pitcher Paul Baker named player of the game. The Graybirds raised their record to 15-27.

Antonio Bastidas made it 2-1 in favor of Reno when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with no one out in the top of the 11th. The Graybirds went on to win.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Bastidas said.
