Toledo Hot Streak Continues with 6-5 Win
The Toledo Cheesepressers eked out a 6-5 win versus the Savannah Pride at Haggar Pants Park. Nobody did more than third baseman Jon Kilkenny, who captured player of the game honors. Jordan Morales was the winner. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. Jason Hoose earned the save, his 18th.

Kilkenny had a key at-bat for Toledo early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Toledo an early 2-0 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Kilkenny said after the game.

The winning streak has now reached 9 games for the Cheesepressers.
