The Toledo Cheesepressers topped the Bangor Devil Bears by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Jon Kilkenny. Kilkenny was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Cheesepressers on the day. Jim Samis picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-2. Zach Weiher was tagged with the loss. Toledo goes to 37-9. The win puts them 14½ games up in their division.

Toledo took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Tyler Donley stroked a 2-run triple to make it 4-2, Cheesepressers.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Toledo manager Matt Perrone. "Our pregame was pretty good."
