Goodbar Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pharaohs
The Honolulu Waterspouts got a superb performance from second baseman Brendan Hight. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Des Moines. The Pharaohs won the game, 7-6. In spite of the loss, Hight was named the player of the game. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Tom Caldwell in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Alejandro Santos took the loss. Des Moines's record now stands at 24-22, placing them third in the United League Central Division.

The Pharaohs got a big at-bat from second baseman Allen Goodbar. For the game, Goodbar went 1 for 5. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 38th hit of the season gave Des Moines a 7-6 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said Goodbar, "and today was a good one for us."
