Hullabaloo Get Road Win, 3-1
|
Kalamazoo turned a good effort from starter Steve Wood into a win over the Reno Graybirds at Harris Interactive Arena. The final score was 3-1. The Hullabaloo have an impressive 33-13 record.
The Hullabaloo beat the Graybirds in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Daryl Prince produced in the top of the first. Batting against Reno pitcher Paul Baker, Prince gave his team a 3-0 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Kalamazoo skipper Jason Eberle. "I can't complain."
