Honolulu starter Jake Doak pitched effectively against the Des Moines Pharaohs at Tractor Supply Company Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. With the win, Honolulu has a record of 32-16. Des Moines falls to 24-23.

Mike Lynn made it 4-3 in favor of Honolulu when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the ninth. The Waterspouts went on to win.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Doak said.
