Both teams had their chances, but the Honolulu Waterspouts eventually prevailed at Harris Interactive Arena.

The Honolulu Waterspouts racked up a win at Harris Interactive Arena, bumping off the Reno Graybirds, 5-4. Ryan Grosso, who started for Honolulu, pitched effectively for his team. Grosso went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 1-1. Earning his 1st save for Honolulu was Lorenzo Sierra.

Bubba Miller was a key contributor to the win for the Waterspouts. In the top of the seventh with one out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to center. He was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Grosso.

The loss drops Reno to 2-3.
