Prince, Hullabaloo Too Much for Graybirds
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo beat the Reno Graybirds, 9-4, at Harris Interactive Arena. Kalamazoo right fielder Daryl Prince earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Kalamazoo starter Leo Rojas was credited with the win after throwing 112 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 5-3. Kalamazoo has a 3-game win streak, while Reno has lost 3 in a row.
Prince had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 curveball from George Cully, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Hullabaloo a 4-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Prince.
"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Prince told the Kalamazoo Times.
