Late Rally by Platoon Secures Win
Fans who gathered at The Zoo saw a good contest between the Saskatoon Platoon and Kalamazoo Hullabaloo.

In a tight contest at The Zoo, the Saskatoon Platoon edged the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo by the score of 5-4. Saskatoon catcher Ed Duron, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Saskatoon occupies third place in the United League West Division at 25-24.

Duron had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Devon Pavese, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Platoon a 5-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Duron.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Duron told the Saskatoon Observer.
