Hullabaloo, Cartwright Pin Bad Loss on Fighting Beetles
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 41-year old designated hitter Jared Cartwright, the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo stopped the Tucson Fighting Beetles, 10-0. Phil Ross earned the win to go to 2-2. He allowed no earned runs on 2 hits, with 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. The Hullabaloo move to 22-29 with the win, while the Fighting Beetles drop to 26-24.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at The Zoo seemed to enjoy watching the United League action.

"I really like what we did out there today," Cartwright said after the game.
