Boise starter Art Wilcox pitched effectively against the Honolulu Waterspouts at Best Western Dome. The left-hander led his team to a 7-4 win. In 7 innings, Wilcox surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 5. He allowed 2 runs. The last-place Idahosies are now 13-38, the Waterspouts 31-20.

Also making an impact was left fielder Chris Van den Bosch, who drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Idahosies. For the game, Van den Bosch was 2-4 with a double.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Wilcox told the Boise News. "It's as simple as that."
