Kalamazoo Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
Boise Idahosies starter Jim Myers turned in a top-notch performance against the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Best Western Dome. The result was a win for the Idahosies, 3-0. Myers picked up the win for Boise, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. Getting the save was Josh Clark, his 4th.
Boise second baseman Brad Docherty helped the Idahosies go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Docherty hit a solo home run off Kalamazoo pitcher Leo Rojas.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Myers told the Boise Gazette.
The second-place Idahosies now have a 4-game winning streak.
