Platoon Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Honolulu
|
Saskatoon pitcher Adrian Krantz did his part in helping his team beat the Honolulu Waterspouts, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Krantz went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-3. David Edmonds converted his 3rd save in 4 tries.
Craig Whitaker, who is tied for 2nd in the UL in stolen bases with 18, aided the Saskatoon cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Krantz.
The Platoon, now 37-18, have won 6 in a row.
