Leg Day Get 6-2 Win Versus Toledo
|
Atlantic City Leg Day starter Cameron Harris was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Toledo Cheesepressers, 6-2. The winning pitcher was Harris, now 5-4. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 8. Eduardo Giron converted his 15th save in 15 tries.
Also making an impact was left fielder Bobby Beckman, who drilled a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Leg Day. For the game, Beckman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Beckman.
Atlantic City now sits in third place in the Patriot League East Division at 29-26.
