Waterspouts Pick Up 5-2 Win
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts topped the Baja Party Burros, 5-2, with first baseman Junior Henderson playing a big role. Henderson was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Waterspouts in the win. Honolulu has now won 4 games in a row.
Henderson contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Honolulu in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Henderson took a changeup from Noah Oliver and stroked the double to left-center. His 7th double of the season allowed the Waterspouts to leap in front, 3-2.
"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Honolulu manager Claribette Del Rosario.
