Kalamazoo Hullabaloo starter Phil Ross turned in an exceptional performance against the Eureka Goldrush at The Zoo, resulting in a Kalamazoo win, 5-1. Devon Pavese finished the game for Kalamazoo and earned his 12th save. Kalamazoo is now 31-25, while Eureka is 29-27.

The Hullabaloo had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 2-0, Kalamazoo, with no one out. Eureka, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Israel Flores dug in at the plate, but on a 2-0 curveball, he hit into a double play.
