Wood Dazzles in Kalamazoo Win
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo picked up a win at Lenscrafters 20/20 Park, knocking off the Topeka Bulldogs, 1-0. Starting pitcher Steve Wood played a key role in the triumph. Devon Pavese earned the save for Kalamazoo, his 17th. The Hullabaloo improved to a lofty 40-16.
Wood gave Kalamazoo a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.
"We had a good game plan," Wood said, "and we were able to execute it."
