Waterspouts Lose to Tyrants, 10-7
|
Elijah Palmer had a good game, but he could not keep the Honolulu Waterspouts from falling, 10-7, to the Tallahassee Tyrants at Pirate Pete's Putt-Putt & Family Fun Complex. The Honolulu left fielder was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 in the loss. Tallahassee reliever Kenny Fuja picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Jonah Mayo absorbed the loss. The Tyrants saw their record improve to 27-29.
Chomei Osumi had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Tyrants. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Tallahassee trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single.
"We came out aggressive," said Tyrants manager Dylan Wooley. "We came out swinging the bats."
