The Honolulu Waterspouts stopped the Tucson Fighting Beetles, 11-4, at Coconuts Park. The Waterspouts got a big game from Layne Fennell, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Ryan Grosso got the win, improving to 7-4. He held the Fighting Beetles to 4 earned runs on 5 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. Honolulu is now 32-29.

Fennell had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Waterspouts went on to win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Fennell.
