Tyrants Roll to 9-2 Win Over Waterspouts
Honolulu right fielder Jared McLaughlin had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. McLaughlin was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, even as Tallahassee beat the Waterspouts, 9-2. McLaughlin was named the player of the game despite the loss. Tallahassee is 28-29 and Honolulu, with the loss, 24-33.

Tallahassee center fielder Ken Curcio contributed to the cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Curcio was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Tallahassee manager Dylan Wooley.
