Black Aces Shut Out Hullabaloo

Lincoln and Kalamazoo duked it out at The Zoo and the Black Aces came out victorious.
In a low-scoring clash between Lincoln and Kalamazoo, pitcher Ken Brown was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Lincoln in the 3-0 win. Lincoln is third in the Patriot League Central Division with a record of 30-28.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Kalamazoo hurler Jake Ronke, John O'Tey hit a run-scoring single. The Black Aces went on to win.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Brown said.
