Pharaohs Lose to Waterspouts in Walk Off
|
Coconuts Park was sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
Honolulu starter Earl Harrow pitched effectively against the Des Moines Pharaohs at Coconuts Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Nick Campbell got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings.
Honolulu won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Steve Gardner on the mound for Des Moines, first baseman Kyle Jaynes hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Waterspouts fans to their feet.
Harrow called the win "a collective effort."
Honolulu has now won 8 in a row.
