Party Burros Drop Another One
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts picked up a win at Coconuts Park, knocking off the Baja Party Burros, 4-1. Starting pitcher Seth Berry, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Berry got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. Berry allowed 1 earned run. Tony Sanchez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 12 save opportunities.
In the bottom of the first, Mike Lynn hit a 2-run double for Honolulu. The 8th double of the season for the Honolulu left fielder put the Waterspouts on top, 2-0.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Honolulu skipper Claribette Del Rosario.
Baja has now lost 5 straight.
