Carnell Hurls Erie to Shutout Victory Friday, July 17th, 2026 Erie Phantoms pitcher Kenneth Carnell blanked the Atlantic City Leg Day 3-0 at Jersey Mike's Ironworks Park today, tossing a 3-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting 2 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Carnell said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today." For this year Carnell has chalked up 6 wins and 3 losses in 15 starts with 68 strikeouts in 99.1 innings and a 2.17 ERA. |
