Albuquerque, Thunder Bay Swap Players Saturday, July 30th, 2022 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Albuquerque Turkeys and the Thunder Bay Corsairs. As part of the deal, the Turkeys swapped 39-year-old RF Bob Mosner and $2,400,000 in cash to the Corsairs getting 25-year-old RHP Andy Horwood in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. Thus far this year Mosner has hit .286 with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. For the season Horwood has logged 3 wins and 3 losses and struck out 59 batters in 99.1 innings while compiling a 3.26 ERA. |
