Ford Shuts Out Duluth Friday, August 7th, 2026 Aaron Ford was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Duluth Lumberjax on 2 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Duluth manager Matt Silva after the 2-0 loss to the Eureka Goldrush. Ford finished with 2 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Eureka manager Matt Germano said Ford "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off." Thus far this season, Ford has tossed 127 innings in 20 starts, fanned 61 batters, walked 16 and put up a 3.83 ERA with 7 wins and 9 losses. |
