Another Setback For Norfolk's Chris Bedford Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 A frustrated Chris Bedford told reporters today that he would be out an additional 4 weeks after suffering a relapse in his recovery from a strained anterior cruciate ligament. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Norfolk Commodores first baseman revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." This year Bedford is batting .247 with 87 hits, 18 home runs, 53 RBIs, 21 walks, .295 OBP and has scored 37 runs. |
