High on the Hit Parade, Rodgers Voted #1 Rookie Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 Kenny Rodgers proved to be one of the Patriot League's preeminent rookies last month, putting up some sensational numbers to take the Rookie of the Month trophy. In August the first baseman for Cheyenne had a .327 average, stroked 36 hits, 8 home runs, drove in 19 runs and drew 7 walks for a .368 OBP. This season Rodgers is batting .266 with 103 hits, 13 home runs, 41 RBIs, .318 OBP and has scored 45 runs. |
