5-for-5 Game for Randol Sunday, September 27th, 2026 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bobby Randol today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Montecristo Field and paced the Pride to a 9-3 win over the Havana Knights. After his dynamite batting performance, the Savannah third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Bobby Randol hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, tripled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season Randol is batting at a .291 clip with 26 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
