UL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Thursday, October 1st, 2026 Chris Honaker's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Boise first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .313 with 3 doubles, no triples and 8 home runs. Honaker also scored 13 times and drove in 18 runs. This year Honaker is hitting .244, produced 34 RBIs and 10 home runs, scored 22 times and gotten on base at a .300 rate. |
