More Injury Problems For Tucson's David Galindo Thursday, October 1st, 2026 David Galindo's return to the Tucson Fighting Beetles has been delayed. The 24-year-old center fielder has been in treatment for a fractured thumb and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Galindo would not be back as originally diagnosed. He would now be out at least one week. This year Galindo is hitting .218 with 9 home runs and 36 RBIs in 129 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .266 with 31 walks and 63 runs scored. |
