Davis Stops El Paso Cold Friday, October 2nd, 2026 Nate Davis of the Albuquerque Turkeys shut out the El Paso Sweathogs 1-0 at Old El Paso Salsadome today, holding them to 3 hits with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, El Paso skipper Mike Wolfe called the outing from Davis "a jewel." "The way Davis was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said. This season Davis has compiled a 15-10 mark, 3.57 ERA and made 33 starts. |
