Eureka Whitewashes Topeka, Busco Winner Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 Dan Busco of the Eureka Goldrush spun his magic on the Topeka Bulldogs today. He blanked them 9-0 on 2 hits, registering 4 strikeouts and 3 walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Busco said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Eureka skipper Taylor Johnson said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Dan pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. Up to now Busco has compiled an ERA of 3.95 with a 9-13 mark over 31 starts. He has 130 strikeouts in 182.1 innings and has held opponents to a .261 batting average. |
